Employees for one post of Accountant-Cum- Cashier, Level -6 ( Rs. 35,400/- - 1,12,400/-) of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC, [Pre-revised PB-II Rs. 9300-34800 and Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-] at Central Drugs Laboratory, Kolkata under Central Drugs Standard Control Organization, Directorate General of Health Services, Min. of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India to be filled on transfer on Deputation basis. 1. Post Name: Accountant Cum Cashier 2. No of Post: 01 3. Pay Scale: Level -6 ( Rs. 35,400/- - 1,12,400/-) 4. Eligibility Criteria: Holding analogous post on regular basis OR with two years regular service in level-5 (Rs. 29,200-92,300) of the pay Matrix of 7th CPC [Pre-revised PB-I Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/- 6th CPC] or equivalent. AND Possessing experience in Administration, Establishment and Accounts. 5. The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately proceeding this appointment in the same or other organizations/department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years. 6. Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) Delhi. It is the oldest quality control laboratory of the drug control authorities in country functions under the administrative control of Director General of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
The vision and mission of organization is to provide safeguard and enhance the public health by assuring the safety, efficacy and quality of drugs, cosmetics and medical devices and protect public health in india.
The organization function for the manufacture, sale and distribution of drugs. They are responsible for approval of new drugs, clinical trials in the country, laying down the standards for drugs, control over the quality of imported drugs, co-ordinations of the activities of state drug control organization and providing expert advice with a view of bring out the uniformity in the enforcement of the drugs and cosmetics.
