Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI) Invites Application for 12 Project Associate-I, Project Assistant Recruitment 2022

Walk-in-Interview will be held at 9.30 a.m. on 5th – 7th April, 2022 at CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute, Karaikudi for selection of suitable candidates for the temporary positions to be engaged in the below mentioned projects.

1. Post Name : Project Associate I

2. Qualification with 55% of Marks (50% marks for SC/ST) : M.Sc. in Chemistry.B.E/B.Tech. in Metallurgical Engineering.B.E/B.Tech. in Metallurgical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering/Material Science and Engineering

3. Stipend : (i)  31,000/-pm + 9% of HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. (ii)`.25,000/-pm + 9% of HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above.

6. Experience : Preferably hands on experience in electrochemical experiments for 6 months or more. GATE/NET qualified candidates are preferable.Experience in electrochemistry/ electrocatalyts/ materials characterization.Experience in electrocatalysis

2. Qualification with 55% of Marks (50% marks for SC/ST) : Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering/Instrumentati on Engg. with 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST)

3. Stipend : (i)  31,000/-pm + 9% of HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. (ii)`.25,000/-pm + 9% of HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above.

5. Project Title & Project Number : Upto 21.02.2025 Electrochemical POC device for detection of vitamin B12 and Vitamin A – GAP-30/21. Upto 07.11.2022 Interface of NDIR gas sensors: Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA) in Transformer Oil – SSP-26/21

6. Experience : Experience/knowledge in embedded system may be desirable. Preference will be given to candidates who are having 3 years of experience in PLC Programming and Field Instrumentation and experience in working with sensors.

2. Qualification with 55% of Marks (50% marks for SC/ST) : M.Sc. in Chemistry (Inorganic/ Physical/ Organic /Analytical Chemistry/General Chemistry/ Polymer Chemistry) with 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST) with valid NET/GATE

3. Stipend : 31,000/-pm + 9% of HRA

5. Project Title & Project Number : Upto 21.02.2025 Electrochemical POC device for detection of vitamin B12 and Vitamin A – GAP-30/21.Upto 02.03.2025 Lithium salts as leachable corrosion inhibitors and potential replacement for hexavalent chromium in hybrid Sol-Gel coatings for active corrosion protection of Mg alloys – GAP-32/21

6. Experience : One year research experience in material synthesis may be desirable.
