CSIR‐ Central Institute Of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Lucknow a laboratory under Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) will be conducting online interview for engagement of Part Time Doctor at CIMAP Dispensary, Vikas Nagar, Lucknow from Indian Nationals with the following job description and educational qualification:‐
Name of Position: ‐ Part Time Doctor
2 . Number of Position: ‐ Two(One Medical officer and one Gynaecologist, preferably lady)
3. Essential Qualification: ‐For Post No.1 MBBS Degree with minimum 55% marks preferably with Post Graduate Degree / MD/ Diploma in Medicine from a Medical College /University recognized by Govt / MCI . For Post No.2 MBBS Degree with minimum 55% marks preferably MD (Gynaecologist) from a Medical College /University recognized by Govt / MCI
4. Desirable Qualification : ‐ Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Medicine/ Paediatrics/ TB Chest/ Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
5. Desirable Experience: ‐ Minimum Two years experience in Government / Private Hospital
6. Remuneration: ‐ Selected candidates will be paid a consolidated amount up to Rs. 32,670/‐ (Thirty Two Thousand Six Hundred Seventy-One) per month for performing maximum of 03 hours duty per day on all working days (except Sunday and holidays).
7. Dispensary Timings: ‐
(i) Morning shift:‐ 09.00 am to 12.00 noon. Medical officer
(ii) Evening shift:‐ 04.30 pm to 07.30 pm. Gynaecologist
8. Hours of duty per day:‐ Part-Time Doctor will work for maximum three hours per day , (except Sunday and holidays ).
9. Job Requirements:‐ Perform the duties of general duty medical officer irrespective of the fact whether individual is a specialist or not. He/She will have to attend the morning or evening OPD of CIMAP Dispensary, Vikas Nagar, Lucknow for three hours duration as decided by Medical Officer incharge according to requirement. This includes treating common medical ailments and referring the patient to specialists if required, follow up of chronic disease patients.
10. Period of engagement:‐ Part-Time Doctor will be contractual engaged on purely temporary basis initially for a period of one year or till regular appointment of Medical Officer, whichever is earlier. They will not have any claim for regular appointment. However, it will not be extended after attainment of 65 year age in any circumstances and the engagement may be cancelled, at any time by CSIR‐CIMAP without assigning any reason whatever by giving one month notice
Pay Scale: INR 32670(Per Month)
Age Limit: Should not have attained the age of 65 years.
Selection Procedure
1. All received applications will be screened by a committee. The Committee may set their own criteria for short‐listing the candidates. The result of Screening will be displayed on institute’s website. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for online interview through e-mail mentioned in application form by the candidate.
2. In case of false information received through online application, the competent authority will cancel the candidature of the applicant and the candidate will be debarred from attending the interview in future. The Part-Time Doctor will be selected on the basis of performance in the interview.
3. Selected candidates must bring all Original and self-attested copies of mark sheets/certificates of Educational Qualifications and Experiences etc. along with recent passport size photographs at the time of joining. In case of failure to bring the original mark sheet/certificates, selected candidates will not be allowed to join for engagement of Part-Time Doctor.

Soft copy of the application in prescribed format along with all relevant mark sheet and certificates has to be e‐mailed to CSIR‐CIMAP Lucknow at ao@ cimap.res.in. Uploaded application and all relevant mark sheets and certificates should be clearly visible. The last date for submission of application is 11 February 2022 upto 5.30 p.m. Applications received after the last date for any reason will not be entertained by CSIR‐ CIMAP.
2. The date for determining age/qualification and experience shall be the last date of submission of the application form.
3. Date & Timing of online Interview: Eligible candidates are required to attend the online interview as per the date & time slot allocated to them
