Educational Qualification:
Drug Treatment Centre (DTC) Coordinator:
In case of Medical Deqree Holder: A Doctor with MBBS degree, preferably a psychiatrist with MD or DNB in Psychiatry or DPM from a recognized institute/university or a corresponding nonmedical degree holder but with suitable experience at the level of Research Ofilcer as per ICMR norms.
In case of Non-Medical Degree Holder: M.Phil. from a recognized institute or University in Clinical Psychology or Psychiatric Social Work with suitable research experience preferably Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology or Psychiatric Social Work.
Training and Field Coordinator: A Social Work or Psychology Postgraduate preferably M.Phil. from a recognized institute or
University, working at the level of Research Associate as per ICMR norms.
Account-cum-Administrative Assistant: Graduate from any recognised university with 2 years of experience or postgraduate with basic
computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of basic statistics.
Pay Scale:
INR
20444-57662/- Per Month
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years.
Desirous candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria should appear for walk-in-interview with their application in the prescribed format giving full details of academic records and experience along with an original and attested photocopy of the relevant documents with recent photograph on 23.03.2022 at 9.30 A.M. at this institute. The walk-in-interview for the following posts shall be held from 11.00 A.M. onwards.

Central Institute of Psychiatry is a premier institution for mental health in India. The British established this hospital on 17th May, 1918 with the name of Ranchi European Lunatic Asylum. CIP, Ranchi has come a long way covering a journey of 100 years witnessing many transitions and at the same time taking the credit of development of a comprehensive mental health service delivery centre with many innovations in the field of mental health and neurosciences including clinical services, state of art research and manpower training in the country. Spread across 211 acres in the picturesque city of Ranchi, today, CIP offers the latest medical advances in an environment that promotes mental health and enhances a sense of wellbeing.
At present there are 17 Wards, 07 wards for the male patients and 06 for the female patients, one ward for centre for child & adolescent psychiatry, one ward for center for addiction psychiatry, one Family Unit and one Emergency Ward.
