Eligibility for Young Professional-I (YP-I)

• Essential Qualification: B.Sc. in Agriculture / Botany / Zoology.
• Desirable: One-year experience working in any scientific project in any research Institution. Knowledge of IT applications, virtual meeting platforms and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Power point, Tally etc.) will be added advantage.
• Age Limit: 21 to 45 years (as on 16-01-2026). Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, and OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on a walk-in-interview comprising written-cum-personal interview. In case of a large number of candidates, a screening test may be conducted. The institute may also conduct a skill test on agriculture farm machinery operation.
