Eligibility Criteria & Qualification Requirements

  • Holding Analogous Post: Officers under the Central Government or State Government currently holding analogous posts on a regular basis are eligible.
  • Alternative Eligibility: Officers with at least 8 years of regular service in the grade of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Level-2 in the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, are also eligible.
  • Age Limit: The maximum age-limit for appointment on deputation shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
  • Deputation Period: The period of deputation, including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment, in the same or some other organization/department of the Central Government, shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years.
  • Pay Regularization: The pay of selected officers will be regularized in accordance with DOPT OM No.2/29/91-Estt.PC (II) dated 05.01.1994, as amended from time to time.
  • Exclusion Clause: Officials belonging to the Ministerial and Non-Ministerial cadres of the Subordinate Offices of CWC are not eligible to apply for the post of UDC on deputation basis.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Application Forwarding: Eligible officers must be forwarded by their parent department to CWC headquarters through the prescribed Proforma in duplicate, along with all supporting documents.
  • Selection Committee: Selection for appointment on deputation will be conducted by a duly constituted Selection Committee at CWC Headquarters, New Delhi.
  • Document Screening: Applications received after the prescribed time limit, or found incomplete, or lacking mandatory documents (APAR dossier, vigilance clearance, penalty certificate, integrity certificate) will not be considered.
  • Posting Allocation: Candidates will state three choices of posting from Annexure-I; the final posting will be at any CWC subordinate office under the jurisdiction of the relevant region.
  • Sparring Clause: Selected officers should be sparrowable immediately by their parent department in the event of selection.
  • Terms & Conditions: Other terms and conditions as stipulated in orders/rules issued by the Government of India from time to time will also be applicable.
