Eligibility for Project Officer – Climate Change
- Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Climate Change, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Natural Sciences, Public Policy, Sustainability, or a related discipline from a recognised university.
- Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in climate change, environment, sustainability, or development sector programmes. Prior experience working with government institutions or policy-linked projects will be an added advantage.
- Desirable Skills:
- Strong understanding of climate change science, impacts, and policy responses.
- Knowledge of India’s climate action architecture (NDCs, SAPCCs, sectoral strategies).
- Ability to analyse, synthesise, and translate complex information into clear outputs.
- Strong writing skills for reports, proposals, and publications.
- Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace and basic research tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
- Language Requirements: Proficiency in English and Kannada is essential. Working knowledge of Hindi is desirable.
