Subject:- Engagement of one (01) Consultant, on contract basis, against the vacancy of Senior Translator Officer for Official Language Division, in Directorate General of Civil Aviation(DGCA), New Delhi-regarding.
1. Post Name: Consultant (on contractual basis) against the vacancy of Senior Translator Officer, for OL Division in Directorate General of Civil Aviation.

3. Educational Qualification:
a. Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at the degree level.
b. OR Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi or English medium and English or Hindi respectively as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at the degree level.
c. OR Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English respectively as a compulsory or elective subjects of either or the two as medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level.
4. Experience:-
a. Recognized diploma or certificate course in translation from Hindi to English or vice-versa or two years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central Government or State Government offices, including Government of India undertakings.
(iii) Working knowledge of Computer, Internet etc.
5. Desirable: (i) Knowledge at the level of Matriculation of a recognized Board of one of the languages other than Hindi mentioned in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution.
6. The fixed monthly remuneration of the Consultant will be Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand only). For retired Government Servants monthly remuneration will be calculated as an amount equal to last pay drawn minus pension or Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand only), whichever is less

Selection Procedure
Only those fulfilling the requirements will be shortlisted and called for interview. The selected candidate will be required to join at the place of posting within seven (07) days from the date of receipt of offer of engagement letter, failing which her/his selection/candidature shall be treated to be cancelled without any further communication and no extension shall be allowed.

The applications in the prescribed proforma neatly typed on white paper in double space and typed on only one side of paper from the eligible and interested candidates should reach the Recruitment Section, DGCA along-with No Objection Certificae from the present employer, if any, latest by 18th April, 2022 (Monday) (15:00 hours)
2. Applications not conforming to prescribed format will not be entertained.
3. Self-attested and legible photo-copies of all the relevant documents supporting the candidate’s eligibility in terms of the requirements for the vacancy are also required to be forwarded along-with duly filled in application
4. Applications without the supporting documents will not be considered.
5. Applications received after the closing date or otherwise found incomplete will not be considered. Decision of DGCA shall be final.
