Educational Qualification: Any Graduate, Diploma

Walk-in-interview will be conducted at this Institute for temporary engagement of Field Assistant under OIIPCRA Funded project as per the details given below with the following qualifications on consolidated remuneration basis.

1. Name of the Position: Field Assistant

2. Number of Position: Seven (07)

3. Name of the project: "Empowering farm women through climate smart intensification and diversification in minor irrigation command area of Keonjhar District (Odisha)"

4. Place of posting: Selected blocks of Keonjhar district

5. Essential Qualification for: 10,+2 with diploma in ( Agriculture/ Horticulture) OR Graduation in any discipline

6. Desirable Qualification: One year experience of working in agriculture research development project

7. Remuneration: Rs. 15000/- (Fixed)

Selection Procedure

1. After screening, shortlisted candidates will be informed through E-mail for attending walk-in-interview. Candidates who do not send their application in the prescribed pdf format will be summarily rejected.

2. Screened eligible candidates will attend the interview furnishing two copies of complete biodata along with duly self attested two passport size photograph and supporting certificates/ testimonials (from matriculation onwards), experience certificates. They should also bring original certificates for verification.

ICAR-Central Institute for Women in Agriculture (ICAR-CIWA) is an institution first of its kind in India that is exclusively devoted to gender-related research in agriculture. Established as National Research Centre for Women in Agriculture (NRCWA) in April 1996 at Bhubaneswar (Odisha) under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi, following the recommendation of the Working Group on Agricultural Research and Education, constituted by the Planning Commission for the formulation of the 8th Five Year Plan (1992-97), the institute has been undertaking research on various issues affecting women’s role and participation and the emerging opportunities in agriculture. It focuses on participatory action research in different technology-based thematic areas involving farm women to make farm technologies suitable for them. The Institute also takes up activities to catalyze and facilitate research and development institutions to bring farm women's perspective in their research and development programs. The Directorate has been upgraded and renamed as “ICAR-Central Institute for Women in Agriculture” (ICAR-CIWA) in the year 2014 under the XIIth plan EFC.
