Eligibility for Para Legal Volunteers

  • Essential Qualification: Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) in Arts, Commerce or Science from Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education or equivalent recognized by the Government. Good knowledge of reading and writing Hindi in Devnagari script.
  • Experience: Not specified, but preference is given to retired teachers/government employees, senior citizens, MSW students/teachers, Anganwadi workers, doctors, law students (until enrolled as lawyers), members of NGOs, clubs, women's groups, self-help groups, and educated prisoners with good behavior serving long sentences.
  • Desirable: Character certificate from two reputable persons (not older than 6 months). Physically and mentally fit. Preference to SC/ST, OBC, women, and retired employees.

Salary / Stipend

Honorarium of Rs. 750 per day.

About District Court Rajsamand

Carved out from erstwhile Udaipur District, Rajsamand District was Constituted on 10th April 1991, and named after the famous lake “Rajsamand” built by Maharana Raj Singh.Rajsamand is situated 67 Km north of Udaipur and 352 KM south of State Capital Jaipur on NH 8. Rajsamand is located between latitudes 24o 46' to 26o 01' N and Longitudes 73o 28' to 74o 18' E. Rajsamand district is surrounded by districts of Ajmer in North, Pali in West, Udaipur in South and Bhilwara in East. Administratively Rajsamand is divided into 7 Sub-divisions, 11 Tehsils and 8 Blocks. There are 214 Gram Panchayats and 239 Patwar Circles. Total population of the Rajsamand district (as per census 2011) was 11,56,597 including 5,81,339 males and 5,75,258 females. This district has a male to female ratio of 1000:990.
