4. Eligibility Criteria
4.1 Educational Qualification
- Minimum qualification: Matric (10th Pass) from a recognized board.
- Preference will be given to candidates actively engaged in social service, legal awareness, SHGs, NGOs, etc.
- Categories eligible: Teachers (including retired), retired government servants, senior citizens, Anganwadi workers, doctors, students, NGO/club members, SHG members, Jeevika/mitra group members.
- Advocates are NOT eligible to apply for PLV positions.
4.2 Age Limit & Requirements
- Specific Age Limit: Not prescribed. However, applicant must be physically and mentally fit.
- Residency: Must be a resident of Samastipur District.
- Character: Must be of good character. No criminal or civil case should be pending against the applicant, and they must not have been convicted by any court.
5. Selection Process
The selection will be conducted by the DLSA Samastipur as per NALSA PLV Scheme guidelines. It is not exam-based.
