About District Court Yadgir

The new District and Sessions Court consisting of three talukas was carved out of Gulbarga District and came into existence on the 30th December, 2009. The new District & Sessions Court at Yadgir, was established w.e.f., 08-03-2010.

The new District & Sessions Court at Yadgir has been accommodated in the old existing building temporarily. A new District Court complex is proposed at Chitapur road near to DC office and a recommendation has been made for acquisition of the land required for New Court Complex.

The present court building has a separate Bar Association building, in which, a provision has been made for lady advocates. The members of Bar Association have the facility of Types and Computer Operations for their routine work.

In the present building apart from the District & Sessions Court, the Court of Sr. Civil Judge and CJM, Civil Judge and JMFC and Fast Track Court are functioning.

Yadgir is located at 16.77° N 77.13°. It has an average elevation of 389 metres (1276 feet). Yadgir is well connected by road and railways. Has also Bheema river flowing by the town.
