Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Senior Resident

• Essential: MD/MS/DNB in relevant specialties OR DM/MCh/DrNB in super-specialty subjects. Candidates must fulfill criteria as per "Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions, 2025 read with MSR/PGMER 2023". Registration with State Medical Council/National Medical Commission is mandatory.
• Experience: Candidates with relevant post-qualification work experience will be given preference.
• Age Limit: 45 years (50 years for Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic Medicine, and Community Medicine).

Eligibility for Specific Departments

• Emergency Medicine: MD/DNB (Emergency Medicine) preferred. MD/MS/DNB in General Medicine, Anaesthesia, Respiratory Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopaedics can also apply.
• Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation: MD/DNB (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) preferred. MS/MD/DNB in Medicine with Diploma in PMR, General Surgery, Orthopaedics also eligible.
• ICU: DM (Critical Care Medicine), MD/DNB (General Medicine/Respiratory Medicine/Emergency Medicine/Pulmonary Medicine). Experience in ICU preferred.
• Cardiology: DM/DNB/DrNB (Cardiology) OR MD/DNB (General Medicine/Paediatrics/Respiratory Medicine).
• Nephrology: DM/DNB/DrNB (Nephrology) OR MD/DNB (General Medicine/Paediatrics).
• Neurology: DM/DNB/DrNB (Neurology) OR MD/DNB (General Medicine/Paediatrics).
• Medical Gastroenterology: DM/DNB/DrNB (Gastroenterology) OR MD/DNB (General Medicine).
• Endocrinology & Metabolism: DM/DNB/DrNB (Endocrinology) OR MD/DNB (General Medicine).
• Hematology: DM/DNB/DrNB (Clinical Haematology) OR MD/DNB (Biochemistry/General Medicine/Paediatrics/Pathology).
