Educational Qualification: M.A, M.Sc
Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for following purely project based temporary positions under Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (HPPCL) funded projects at Himachal Regional Center of the Institute.
1. Position: Field Researcher
2. No of Post: 01
3. Emoluments: 15,000/- p.m. fixed
4. Essential Qualification: First class Master Degree in Remote Sensing & GIS / Soil Science/ Environmental Science/ Zoology from recognized university.
5. Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidate having Experience in data collection, documentation, knowledge on RS/GIS software including ERDAS Imagine and Arc GIS.
6. Nature of Duties: Collection of preliminary baseline data. Assessment of Change in landuse pattern of the Study area. Assessment of aquatic ecology. Training, field demonstration to stakeholders.

Selection Procedure
The shortlisted candidates will be informed separately about the date of interview. The interview will be held either physical or virtual mode (Audio/Video) as the conditions deemed fit due to COVID-19 scenario.
