Scientific Officer and Various Posts

Number of Vacancy: 36 Posts

Educational Qualification:
Professor: (i) Ph.D. or equivalent, from a recognized University in appropriate discipline. (Persons guiding Ph.D. students and having Post Ph.D. Publications is highly desirable). (ii) B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./ M.Tech. in relevant branch from a recognized University with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. (iii) Minimum 10 years experience in teaching/research/industry out of which at least 5 years shall be at the level of Associate Professor.

Associate Professor: (i) Ph.D. or equivalent, from a recognized University in appropriate discipline. (Person guiding Ph.D. students and having Post Ph.D. Publications is highly desirable). (ii) B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./ M.Tech. in relevant branch from a recognized University with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. (iii) Minimum 5 years experience in Teaching/Research/Industry out of which 2 years Post Ph.D. experience is desirable. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

Principal: (i) Ph. D. Degree in relevant discipline. (ii) Professor/Associate Professor with a total experience of fifteen years of teaching/research in Universities, Colleges and other Institutions of Higher Education. (iii) A minimum 10 research publications in peer reviewed journal as approved by Goa University from time to time or UGC-listed journals out of which at least two should be in Schpus/Web of Science Journal. (iv) A minimum of 110 Research Score as stipulated in Appendix II, Table 2 to the Statutes SC-16 on minimum qualifications for appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Colleges and other measures for the maintenance of Standards in Higher Education, 2018. (v) Knowledge of Konkani.

Junior Orthopaedic Surgeon: (i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Postgraduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the speciality concerned. (iii) In case of Diploma holders, Work in responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 2 years after postgraduation Diploma. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

Consultant Anaesthesia: (i) M.B.B.S. from a recognized Medical College. (ii) Post Graduation(MD) in Anaesthesia from a recognized Institution or equivalent. (iii) Registered with the Medical Council of India (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

Scientific Officer: (1) (i) Bachelor’s Degree in Science in Chemistry/Physics/Biology or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution. (ii) Five Years experience in relevant field. OR (1) (i) Master’s Degree in Science in Chemistry/Physics/Biology or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution. (ii) Three years Experience in relevant field. (2) Knowledge of Konkani.

Assistant Superintending Archaeologist: (i) At least Second Class Master's degree of a recognised University or equivalent in Indian History or Archaeology, with an Indian Classical language as a subject at degree level. OR (i) At least Second Class Mater's degree of a recognised University or equivalent in an Indian Classical language with Indian History or Archaeology as a subject at degree level. ii) 3 years practical experience in field Archaeology. iii) Knowledge of Konkani.

Pay Scale:
INR
15600-67000/- Per Month

Age Limit: Maximum 45 Years.
