GSL is a Schedule ‘B’ Mini Ratna Category I Company and is engaged in designing and building Ships for Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard. Applications are invited from Nationals only for the following: 1. Post Name: Consultant - SR (Mechanical Basis) On Contract Basis 2. No. of Vacancies: 02 3. Salary: 50,000/- 4. Essential Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution/ AICTE approved institution 5. Essential Experience: Minimum 10 years post qualification experience in Operation and Maintenance of Marine Equipment and Systems. 6. Desirable Experience: Experience in Commissioning, Operation & Maintenance and watch keeping of ship equipment on board Indian Navy/Coast Guard Ships. Proficiency in Computer based data management & record keeping. Experience onboard Aircraft Carriers/ frigates / missile ships will added advantage. MCERA/ crafts/ Capital be MCMECWCHERA/CHMECWERA3/MECH3 ranks or equivalent in Coast Guard are desirable. 1. Post Name: Consultant - SR (Electrical) On Contract Basis 2. No. of Vacancies: 01 3. Salary: 50,000/- 4. Essential Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution/ AICTE approved institution 5. Essential Experience: Minimum 10 years post qualification experience in Operation and Maintenance of Marine Electrical Equipment and Systems. 6. Desirable Experience: a. Experience in computer based state of the art Instrumentation & weapon control on board Indian Navy/ Coast Guard Ships. Proficiency in Computer based data management & record keeping. Clear understanding of electrical schematics, troubleshooting and Maintenance / Repair of electrical equipments & systems. b. Familiarity with operation & maintenance of Main Switch Boards / Power & Control panels/ Power Switches/ lighting systems, operation of DGs. Experience onboard Aircraft Carriers/frigates/ missile crafts/Capital ships will be added advantage. MCEAP/CHEAP/EAP3/CHMECH(P)/MECH(P)3 ranks or equivalent in Coast Guard are desirable. 1. Essential Qualification: Diploma in Electronics / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized institution/ AICTE approved institution 5. Essential Experience: Minimum 10 years post qualification experience in Operation and maintenance of Marine Electronic equipment. 6. Desirable Experience: a. Experience in Commissioning, Operation & Maintenance and watch keeping of ship Communication & Navigation equipments, state of the art Instrumentation & Weapon controls on board Indian Navy/ Coast Guard Ships. Proficiency in Computer based data management & record keeping. b. Experience in trouble shooting and Maintenance/Repair of Ship's communication systems such as EPABX, Sound Powered Telephones, Main Broadcasting & Public address systems with multiple microphone & speaker stations, Low Power/ High Power Wireless/RF communication systems (VLF,LF, MF, HF, VHF/UHF & Microwave frequency ranges), Ship's Navigation systems, fire detection systems, their cabling and interconnections c. Familiarity with LAN and experience in RF/wireless & other communication systems / Navigation systems on board Naval ships in the supervisor Experience onboard Aircraft Carriers/ Capital ships will be added advantage. MCEAR/CHEAR/EAR3/CHMECH(R)/MECH(R)3 ranks or equivalent in Coast Guard are desirable.

Selection Procedure
Interview call letters will be sent only through E-mail to shortlisted candidates’ registered Email ID. The candidates are requested to login to their E-mail Id and check regularly.

2. The last date to receive the Application along with relevant documents is 31.03.2022.
Important Instructions:
1) The posts are on contract basis only and do not provide any claim for permanent employment.
2) The contract tenure could be extended by a further period of 01 year each or part thereof until the person attains 65 years of age, depending upon the requirement of the Company and the performance of the person engaged.
3) Management reserves the right to fill or not to fill the post. Mere fulfillment of qualifications and other requirements as laid down does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview.
4) Management reserves the right to raise the eligibility criteria for short listing the applications.
5) For any dispute, the Jurisdiction shall be Goa only.
6) Interim enquiries will not be entertained.
7) Canvassing in any form may lead to disqualification of candidature.
8) At the sole discretion of GSL Management the number of posts notified may be increased or reduced.
9) Management further reserves the right to decide the criteria for screening of applications and internal rules and regulations and / or the procedures as per the past practice will be followed.
10) The essential work experience should have been completed not earlier than three years from the cutoff date i.e. 28.02.2022 as per the advertisement. The candidate who has completed the essential work experience prior to 28.02.2019 and was employed in the field related to the essential work experience between 28.02.2019 and 28.02.2022 for any length of time, will also be considered.
11) Management reserves the right to reject the candidature if it is found that false or fabricated information is furnished in the application. The candidate is also liable to be terminated on the basis of false information even after his/her selection.
12) Corrigendum, if any, will be uploaded on our website only. Candidates are requested to check our website regularly under the heading “Advertisement”.
