Online applications are invited from intending eligible Indian citizens as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for filling up of the following Grade - Ill posts (Technical & Non-Technical) and Grade-IV (Peon) posts (Non-Technical) in respect of existing vacancies in different health institutions in the State under the establishment of Directorate of Health Services (FW), Assam, Hengrabari, Guwahati-36, as shown below. 1. Name of the Post: ANM (Auxiliary Nurse of Midwives)
2. No of Post: 166
3. Scale of Pay and Grade Pay: Rs. 14,000-Rs. 60,500 with Grade Pay of Rs. 6200/-
4. Minimum Education Qualification: ANM Training passed from Assam Govt Institution or Institution recognized by India Nursing Council and Assam Nursing Council and Registered under Assam Nursing Council.
1. Name of the Post: LDA (Computer Assistant)/Steno Typist
2. No of Post: 16
3. Scale of Pay and Grade Pay: Rs. 14,000-Rs. 60,500 with Grade Pay of Rs. 6200/-
4. Minimum Education Qualification: Graduate in Arts, Commerce or Science from Government recognized university or equivalent and applicant must possess minimum 1 (one) year Diploma course in Computer Application.
1. Name of the Post: Grade-IV (Peon)
2. No of Post: 25
3. Scale of Pay and Grade Pay: Rs. 12,000-Rs. 52,000 with Grade Pay of Rs. 3900/-
4. Minimum Education Qualification: Class VIII passed from Government recognized school

Selection Procedure
1. Selection process shall be notified in the official website of the Directorate of Health Services (Family Welfare), Assam (www.dhsfw.assam.gov.in) in due course of time.

3. Preference to contractual employees etc. - Preference shall be given to contractual employees under NHM and other societies under Health & Family Welfare Department, Assam who apply for any post under this advertisement.
