Director General Health Services, Haryana invites applications fo filling up vacant posts of Medical Officers (Haryana Civil Medical Services Group-A) in different Health institutions on regular basis. The number and details of vacant posts of Medical Officers is as under:
1. Post Name: Medical Officers
2. No. of Post: 980
3. Scale of Pay:FPL-10
4. Essential Qualifications: Graduate in Medicine and Surgery from a recognized University or any other University or Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India; and. Registered as Medical Practitioner with Medical Council of India or any other State Medical Council in Indian Union; and. Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit. Preference shall be given to candidates having MD/MS degree/PG diploma approved by MCI.
5. Disabled persons who are covered under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. 5 years(+5 years if candidate belongs to SICaste, S/Tribe, B/Classes) subject to maximum of 55 years.

2. Detailed instructions for filling up online application form are available on the above-mentioned websites. Applications submitted by any means other than the web link available on the above-mentioned two websites shall be summarily rejected
3. The online applications can be submitted up to 30.01.2022 till 11:59 PM. The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admit Card well before the commencement of the written test. The e-Admit Card will be made available on the websites i.e. www.haryanahealth.nic.in & www.uhsr.ac.in for downloading by the candidates. No separate Admit Card will be sent by post.

Health Department is headed by the Director General, Health Services, and is assisted by One Additional Director General, Seven Directors, One Additional Director (Administration), One Joint Director (Administration) and Deputy Directors at the Head Office.
The Head of Health Services at the District is Civil Surgeon while the Civil Hospitals are headed by Principal Medical Officers/Medical Superintendents / Senior Medical Officers. Community Health Centres and Primary Health Centres are headed by Senior Medical Officers and Medical Officer in-charge respectively.
The post of Director General Health Services is a departmental post. The DGHS work as the Head of the Department and looking after the work of all officers of the department. The officer in addition to administrative and financial powers is responsible for implementing all the schemes of the Health Department. The officer works under the supervision, direction and control of the Additional Chief Secretary, Government to Haryana for the Health Department. The DGHS is assisted by one Additional Director General, Seven Directors, One Additional Director (Administration) and One Joint Director (Administration).
