Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for All Constable Posts

• Essential: 10+2 (Senior Secondary) passed from a recognized education Board/Institution. Must have passed Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric standard or higher education.
• Experience: Not required.
• Desirable: Candidates must have qualified Common Eligibility Test (CET) for Group-C with minimum 50% marks for general category and 40% marks for reserved category.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 25 years (as on 01-01-2026)
• Relaxation: 5 years relaxation for SC/BC/EWS categories. Age relaxation for Ex-servicemen is applicable as per Punjab Police Rules, 1934.

Salary / Stipend

Candidates selected for the Constable posts will receive a salary of Rs. 21,700 (Level-3 Cell-1) plus applicable allowances.

Selection Process

1. Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Qualifying test for height and chest.
2. Physical Screening Test (PST): Qualifying race (Male: 2.5 Km in 12 Min, Female: 1.0 Km in 6 Min).
3. Knowledge Test: 97% weightage, Objective type (MCQs). Syllabus includes General Studies, Science, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Computer (10%), Haryana Knowledge (20%).
4. Additional Weightage: Up to 03 marks for NCC Certificates.
