Educational Qualification:
Junior Office Assistant: 10+2 from a recognized Board of School Education/University OR Matriculation from a recognized Board of School Education with one/ two Diploma/ Certificate years Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in information technology (IT) and information from Technology Enabled Sectors (ITES) as notified by Director General of Employment & Training, Govt. of India from time to time of three years Diploma in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science/ IT from a Polytechnic as approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Steno Typist: i) Should have an examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board of School Education/ University ii) Should possess the following speed in shorthand and typewriting in both languages ie English and Hindi at the time of initial appointment. passed 10+2 iii) Should have the knowledge of word processing prescribed by the recruiting authority. Knowledge of customs manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
Pay Scale:
INR
5910-20200/- (Per Month)
Age Limit: 18-45 Years.
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected based on written test/personal interview/medical test/ walk-in interview. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the given criteria.
How to Apply:
1. No TA/ DA will be payable to the applicant for appearing in the written/viva voice test.
2. The application form complete in all respects may be sent to the Executive Director (Pers.) Vidyut Bhawan, HPSEBL, Shimla-4 on or before 15.06.2022, and the last date of the candidates residing in Tribal & difficult areas is 20.06.2022.
3. No application shall be entertained after the due date.

Himachal Pradesh is almost wholly mountainous state having altitudes ranging from 350meters to 6,975 with climate conditions varying from semi-tropical to semi-arctic. The total population of Himachal Pradesh as per 2011 census was 68,56,509 with population density being 123 persons per sq. Km. Electric supply at the time of formation of the state in 1948 was available only in the Capitals of the erstwhile princely states and the connected load at the time was less than 500 kW.Thus the organization of the power utility in the state began relatively recently and first electrical division was formed in August,1953 under the Public Works Department. .
