Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 01 Visiting Consultant Post for the Vitreo-Retinal Surgeon position in Ophthalmology. This is a great opportunity for experienced ophthalmologists to work on a visiting basis at HAL Hospital, Ojhar Township, Nashik.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Visiting Consultant - Vitreo-Retinal Surgeon

• Essential Qualification:
  • MBBS, MS (Ophthalmology) or DNB (Ophthalmology).
  • + Fellowship/Specialization in Vitreo-retinal surgery.
  • Candidate must have valid MCI Registration under the Medical Council of India Act.
  • Qualifications must be regular/full-time; part-time/correspondence/distance education courses are not eligible.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant stream.
• Age Limit: Upper age limit is 65 Years as on 16-01-2026. No further relaxation is admissible.

Salary & Remuneration

Applicants are required to clearly indicate the expected remuneration per visit (considering minimum 02 hrs. visit) in the application form. Remuneration per visit would be fixed by HAL. Selected candidates will be eligible for conveyance reimbursement per visit. Taxes (Income Tax, Service Tax, Professional Tax) will be deducted as per rules.

Selection Process

Suitable candidates will be shortlisted for a Personal Interview. The interview will be conducted at HAL Hospital, Ojhar Township. Final selection will be based on the performance in the interview.
