This is a high-level Group A position offering a Pay Level of 14 under the 7th CPC.

Eligibility Criteria for Registrar

Essential Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: A postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
• Experience: Candidates must satisfy one of the following experience criteria:
  • At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in AGP of Rs. 7000 (or equivalent VII CPC scale) and above along with experience in educational administration; OR
  • 8 years of service in the AGP of Rs. 8000 (or equivalent VII CPC scale) and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration; OR
  • 15 years of administrative experience of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar in GP 7600 or an equivalent post.

Desirable Qualifications

• Qualification in the area of Management / Engineering / Law.
• Experience in Computerized administration / Accounts & Finance / Stores & Purchase / Legal / Establishment matters.

Age Limit

• The upper age limit for the post is 55 years.

Pay Scale & Perks

• Pay Level: Level 14 as per 7th CPC.
• Basic Pay: Rs. 1,44,200/- at entry level.
• Method of Recruitment: Deputation or Contract basis initially for 3 years (extendable up to 5 years or age 62).
• Incentives (Contract Basis):
  • Furniture allowance up to Rs. 2 Lakhs.
  • Salary fixed as per GoI OM (Max Rs. 2,25,000/- inclusive of pension).
  • HRA and other allowances as per norms.
  • Telephone reimbursement: Rs. 1200/- + GST per month.
  • Medical facilities provided.
• Travelling Allowance: Economy air travel/AC-II Train fare will be paid for attending the interview.

• Exempted Categories: SC/ST/PwD/Women/Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.
