Eligibility Criteria (In-Depth)
1. Educational Qualification
- Common Requirement: Degree from a recognized university.
- For Chief Security Officer: Must be a Meritorious Ex-Army personnel equivalent to or more than CI cadre of A.P Police Department.
- For Security Officer: Must have served in the Indian Army as Subedar/JCO or equivalent rank.
2. Desirable Physical Standards
Candidates must meet the following physical standards (Desirable):
- Height: 170 cms
- Chest: 81 cms (85 cms expanded)
- Vision: 6/12 without glasses, no colour blindness.
- Health: Sound health with a fitness certificate.
3. Age Limit & Relaxation
- Maximum Age: 50 years for all posts.
- Age Relaxation: An age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for reserved category candidates applying for the Security Officer post.
