IIT Tirupati Invites Application for 3 Project Officer Recruitment 2022

Applications are invited from interested candidates for the following positions on an outsourcing basis for a period of one year. These positions are purely temporary in nature. Selected candidates will be engaged through a third party outsourcing agency.

1. Designation : Project Officer-Web Development

2. No. of Posts : 02

3. Qualification/Experience : Eligibility Criteria: B.Tech/BE/ME/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc in CSE or IT or equivalent, with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognised University/ Institution

a) Experience: 5 years relevant experience in Web Development for an academic institution or registered company

b) Required Skills: PHP, MySQL, PL/SQL, HTML, CSS, JQuery, CMS like Drupal or Joomla, UI/Website Design and Development, Frontend Backend, Web Hosting, Server Deployment and Installation Desirables: JSON, MongoDB, Javascript, Angular JS and Git

4. Consolidated Remuneration Range : Rs. 35,000 - 45,000/-

3. Qualification/Experience : Eligibility Criteria: B.Tech/BE/ME/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc in CSE or IT or equivalent with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognised University/ Institution

a) Experience: 5 years relevant experience in Computer Networks and Linux/Unix systems, WiFi and LAN administration, management and monitoring, installation and configuration of servers, Firewall, DNS, SANs, NASs and associated network devices. Preference will be given for open source networking monitoring certified professionals.

b) Required Skills: Any relevant Network certification: CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CCIE, CCDE, CCAr, CWNP, or CWSP.

4. Consolidated Remuneration Range : Rs. 35,000 - 45,000/-

Selection Procedure

1. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the written test (online), practical test (offline), and followed by an interview (offline).

2. The decision of the Institute will be final regarding shortlisting for interview, final selection and pay fixation.

3. Original certificates will be verified only for the candidates shortlisted for the interview.

4. The upper age limit may be relaxed for exceptionally good candidates based on the committee’s decision.

5. The shortlisted candidates will be informed by email only.

6. As it is an urgent requirement, the selection process is expected to complete by the end of February. The selected candidates should join the institute within two weeks from the date of receiving the offer letter.

7. The initial tenure of appointment will be for a period of one year, it can be extended for one more year subject to satisfactory performance through a periodical assessment report.

8. The selected candidates shall not have a claim on any regular position and shall not have any of the privileges like housing, medical facilities and other benefits available to regular employees of the Institute.

9. IIT Tirupati reserves the right to change the mode of the examination depending on the prevailing COVID situation.
