IIT Tirupati Invites Application for Project Assistant Recruitment 2022

Applications are invited from interested candidates for the following positions on an outsourcing basis for a period of one year. These positions are purely temporary in nature. Selected candidates will be engaged through a third party outsourcing agency.

IITTP/ RECT-OS/01/22

1. Designation : Project Assistant (Systems)

2.Qualification/Experience : Eligibility Criteria: B. Sc (CS)/ BCA/ 3 years Diploma in CS/IT/ Network Technology with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognised University/ Institution

Experience: 2 years relevant experience in Computer Hardware, Printers, and Networking, Software maintenance, Troubleshooting skills, Linux/Unix, Windows installation and basic Command-Line exposure.

Desirables: A/V, projector configuration and management

4. Consolidated Remuneration Range : Rs. 25,000- 35,000/-

1. Designation : Project Assistant (Administration)

2.Qualification/Experience : Eligibility Criteria:First class Bachelor’s Degree with knowledge of computer operations, with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognised University/ Institution

Experience: 22 years relevant experience in procurement, stock management, back-office administration, MS Office

3. No. of Posts : 01

4. Consolidated Remuneration Range : Rs. 20,000- 30,000/-

Selection Procedure

1. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the written test (online), practical test (offline) and followed by an interview (offline).

2. The decision of the Institute will be final regarding shortlisting for interview, final selection and pay fixation.

3. Original certificates will be verified only for the candidates shortlisted for the interview.

4. The upper age limit may be relaxed for exceptionally good candidates based on the committee’s decision.

5. The shortlisted candidates will be informed by email only.

6. As it is an urgent requirement, the selection process is expected to complete by the end of February. The selected candidates should join the institute within two weeks from the date of receiving the offer letter.

7. The initial tenure of appointment will be for a period of one year, it can be extended for one more year subject to satisfactory performance through a periodical assessment report.

8. The selected candidates shall not have a claim on any regular position and shall not have any of the privileges like housing, medical facilities and other benefits available to regular employees of the Institute.

9. IIT Tirupati reserves the right to change the mode of the examination depending on the prevailing COVID situation.
