Airmen Group Y (Medical Assistant Trade)

Educational Qualification: Candidate should have passed 10+2/ Intermediate/ Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from Education Boards recognised by Central, State and UT with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and with 50% marks in English. OR Should have passed two years’ Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from Education Boards recognised by Central, State and UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Candidate with Diploma/ B.Sc in Pharmacy. Candidate should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent Examination with Physics,
Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. In addition, Diploma/ B.Sc in Pharmacy with minimum 50% marks in aggregate with valid registration from State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) at the time of enrolment will be mandatory requirement.

Age Limit: Maximum 24 Years.

Selection Procedure:
Phase-I - Online Test
Subjects: English (10+2 CBSE level), Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA)
Duration: 45 minutes
Negative marking: 0.25 for wrong answers.

Phase-II
Physical Fitness Test (1.6 km run, Push-ups, Sit-ups, Squats)
Adaptability Test-I (objective)
Adaptability Test-II (to assess military adaptability).

Phase-III - Medical Examination
Conducted by IAF Medical Team as per standards
Includes lab tests, chest X-ray, ECG, vision check, etc.

Application Fee: Examination fee of Rs.550/- plus GST is to be paid online by the candidate while registering for the online examination. The payment can be made by Debit Cards/ Credit Cards/ Internet Banking through payment gateway. Candidates are advised to follow the instructions/ steps given on the payment gateway, and also print/ keep transaction details for their records.
