ICMR Recruitment 2026 – Apply for 03 Consultant & Young Professional Posts

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has released a recruitment notification for 2026 to fill vacancies for Consultant, Young Professional-I, and other posts. Candidates with the required qualifications and experience can attend the walk-in interview scheduled from 28th to 30th January 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Consultant-Finance

• Essential: MBA-Finance/CA/ICWA with at least 10 yrs experience in Finance & Accounts/Investments/Project financing / regulatory affairs with Govt. Dept /PSU/Autonomous Bodies.
• Skills: Knowledge of MS-Office and Commercial accounting software is must.

Eligibility for Consultant-Technical (Non-Medical)

• Essential: Post-graduate in Science / B.Tech/ M.Tech/ M. Pharma with at least 10 yrs. experience of working (PhD will be considered as 4 yrs experience) in R&D.
• Desirable: Working in Govt research scheme / projects with knowledge of MS-Office will be given preference.

Eligibility for Young Professional-I (Admin)

• Essential: Graduate in any discipline with minimum 55% marks with one year experience, knowledge of IT application, MS Office will be given preference. Minimum one year of post qualification experience in noting and drafting, presentation preparation and co-ordination.
• Desirable: Knowledge of IT applications, virtual meeting platforms and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

Selection Process

• Short-listing for the interview will be based on educational qualifications, age, and relevant experience.
• If required, a written test or assignment may be conducted prior to the interview.
• Final selection will be based on performance in the interview.

How to Apply

• Candidates who meet the prescribed age limit and possess the required qualifications and experience may appear for the Walk-in interview.

• Candidates must bring all original documents for verification and submit two sets of self-attested copies, a duly filled and signed application form with photograph, and resume.
