6. Qualification required:M.Sc degree (or equivalent) in biological Sciences (Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Botany/ Zoology OR B.Tech (or equivalent) in biology related subjects with NET/NET(LS)/GATE/Equivalent Plus 2 years of research experience in the field of protein chemistry / computational biology/ Bioinformatics/ Structural biology.
7. Desirable:Knowledge in Structural Biology/ molecular dynamics (MD) simulation / docking study// protein modelling etc..
8. Stipend:Rs. 35,000/- plus HRA Per month.

Indian Institute of Chemical Biology (IICB) is a biomedical research center in Kolkata, West Bengal. It was established in 1935. It was named as Indian Institute of Experimental Medicine (IIEM). Later on, IIEM was included in Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) in the year of 1956 and renamed to its present form in 1982.
