Educational Qualification: M.Phil/Ph.D

Required a post for one Project Postdoc Fellow (One post) in Central Pollution Control Board-MoEFCC sponsored Project entitled, “Creation of Secretariat at IIT, Kanpur for National Knowledge Network (NKN) to support National Clean air Programme (NCAP) activities” on plain paper. The appointment is purely temporary and on contractual basis.

3. Minimum Qualification & Experience: Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences / Aerosol Science / Physics / Climate Sciences / Marine Sciences / Environmental Sciences

4. Salary: Rs. 47000 per month (Consolidated), depending on experience + 16% HRA as per institute norms.

5. Desirable:

a) Working knowledge on in-situ measurements of aerosols over land and Ocean

b) Familiarity in handling aerosol sampling instruments

c) Knowledge of computer programming

d) Familiarity with aerosol transport and physics

e) Experience in radiative transfer modeling

f) Strong knowledge of air pollution and data analysis

g) The department reserves the right to fix suitable criteria for short listing of eligible candidates satisfying qualifications and experience.

Pay Scale: INR 47000(Per Month)
