Eligibility for Senior Technician

• Essential Qualification: M.Tech / MS in Mechanical Engineering / any stream related to Materials, M.Sc Physics / nano-science streams.
• Experience: Must have experience in material characterization and handling of related instruments.
• Desirable: Experience in operating and regular maintenance of equipment like Precision Automated Scratch Tester in research laboratory/ industry R&D set-up.

Salary/Stipend

Selected candidates for the Senior Technician position at IIT Madras will be offered a competitive consolidated salary ranging from Rs. 35,000/- to Rs. 50,000/- per month, which will be determined based on their experience and qualifications.
