Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS)

  • Essential Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent pass.
  • Experience: One year experience in Laboratory / Office / Store.
  • Desirable: One year experience in Laboratory / Office / Store.

Eligibility for Driver

  • Essential Qualification: 10th standard pass with valid driving license for LMV & HMV and knowledge of motor mechanism.
  • Experience: 3 years driving experience.
  • Desirable: Experience of driving LMV / HMV in Govt. / Semi Govt. / Autonomous Organizations / PSUs / Universities.

Age Limit

  • MTS: Maximum 25 years (as on 19-02-2026)
  • Driver: Maximum 27 years (as on 19-02-2026)

Selection Process

For MTS: Written Test (Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions) in two papers - Paper-I (General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness) and Paper-II (General English, Quantitative Aptitude).
For Driver: Written Test followed by Driving Test / Skill Test.

About Indian Institute of Toxicology Research

CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, Lucknow, a constituent laboratory of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, was established in 1965.

This multidisciplinary research institute with the motto Safety to Environment and Health and Service to Industry addresses problems critical to human health and the environment. CSIR-IITR has Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Compliance Certification from NGCMA, Government of India, issued with respect to Toxicity studies, Mutagenicity studies, Environmental toxicity studies on aquatic & terrestrial organisms, and Analytical & clinical chemistry testing. The institute also has NABL-accredited facilities for Biological and Chemical testing services. CSIR-IITR undertakes research in niche areas of toxicology. These include the impact of industrial and environmental chemicals on human health and ecosystem, and environmental monitoring of pollutants in air, water, and soil.
