Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Technician Apprentice (Mechanical)

• Essential: Three years full time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering. Lateral entry candidates after Class-XII (Sc)/ITI admitted in 2nd year of Diploma course are also eligible.
• Experience: Candidates having job experience for a period of one year or more after attainment of qualification shall not be eligible. Candidates who have completed five years after acquiring prescribed qualification as on 31/01/2026 shall not be eligible.

Eligibility for Technician Apprentice (Electrical)

• Essential: Three years full time Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Lateral entry candidates after Class-XII (Sc)/ITI admitted in 2nd year of Diploma course are also eligible.
• Experience: Same as above.

Eligibility for Technician Apprentice (Telecommunication & Instrumentation)

• Essential: Three years full time Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics & Radio Communication Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Instrumentation & Process Control Engineering, or Electronics Engineering.
• Experience: Same as above.

Eligibility for Trade Apprentice (Assistant-Human Resource)

• Essential: Full Time Bachelor degree (Graduation) from a Government recognized Institute/University.
• Experience: Same as above.

Eligibility for Trade Apprentice (Accountant)

• Essential: Full Time Bachelor degree (Graduation) in Commerce from a Government recognized Institute/University.
• Experience: Same as above.

Eligibility for Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentices)

• Essential: Minimum 12th Pass (but below Graduate).
• Experience: Same as above.

Eligibility for Domestic Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders)

• Essential: Minimum 12th Pass (but below Graduate) with Skill Certificate of Domestic Data Entry Operator for training of less than one year.
• Experience: Same as above.

Common Eligibility Points

• Essential Qualification: Candidate should have already passed the prescribed qualification on the date of reckoning eligibility criteria which is 31/01/2026. The prescribed qualification for Graduate/Diploma holders shall be from a recognized University/Institute as a regular full-time course with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST and PwBD).
• Non-Eligibility: Candidates holding a qualification acquired through part-time/correspondence/distance education mode are not eligible. Candidates possessing higher professional qualifications (BE/B.Tech, MBA, etc.) are not eligible.

Age Limit (as on 31/01/2026)

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 24 years
• Relaxation: SC/ST - 5 years, OBC (NCL) - 3 years, PwBD - 10 years.

Selection Process

• Selection will be based on a merit list prepared based on the percentage of marks in the essential qualification applicable to the trade applied for.
• No Written Test or Personal Interview.
• Verification of original documents shall be done before joining.
