Honorarium Structure (Per Working Day)

Guest teachers are not entitled to any allowances or facilities beyond the stated honorarium.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Qualification (All Posts): Master's degree in the relevant subject of the Agriculture faculty with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent grade 6.50 on a 10.00-point scale) and a good academic record.
• NET Requirement: National Eligibility Test (NET) shall remain compulsory, along with one publication in a NAAS-rated referred journal, for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor and equivalent in the disciplines in which NET is conducted.
• NET Exemption for Ph.D. Holders: Candidates holding a Ph.D. degree with course work as prescribed by UGC Regulations 2009, and possessing at least two full-length publications with a NAAS rating of not less than 4 on the last date of application submission, are exempted from the NET requirement.
• Important: Candidates with a Ph.D. degree completed without course work will not qualify for NET exemption.
• Age Limit: Maximum 40 years for part-time/guest teachers. Age relaxation up to 5 years for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Classes, and women candidates, subject to a maximum of 45 years, as per Chhattisgarh Government rules. If the Chhattisgarh Government amends the maximum age limit, the revised provisions shall apply.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

1. Application Scrutiny: All submitted applications will be screened for eligibility based on qualification, age, and supporting documents.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be informed separately regarding the interview schedule following the scrutiny of applications. The interview date is yet to be announced.
3. Document Verification: Candidates must bring all original documents and self-attested photocopies at the time of the interview.

No travel allowance (TA/DA) will be paid to candidates attending the interview. Guest teachers are required to work in accordance with the academic, examination, and laboratory activities instructed by the college from time to time.
