The Institute for Plasma Research (IPR), Gandhinagar, Gujarat, is an Aided Institute of Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India. Applications are invited for Trainee Scientific Officer from highly motivated Engineering Graduates in following disciplines.

1. Name of the Post: Trainee Scientific Officer

3. Training Scheme & Employment Description: Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) Training School has invited online applications for One Year Orientation Course for Engineering Graduates and Science Post Graduates for the year 2022-2023 (OCES- 2022). Candidates desirous of applying for Trainee Scientific Officers in Institute for Plasma Research may apply online by visiting the website http://www.barconlineexam.in
4. Salary: The IPR Trainees will be paid monthly stipend and one time book allowance at the applicable rates. On successful completion of the one year training, partly for course work at BARC Training School followed by project work at IPR, these IPR Trainee Scientific Officers (ITSOs) will be appointed in IPR as Scientific Officer-C at a basic pay of ₹ 56100/- per month in the Level 10 of pay matrix (7th CPC) plus other allowances as admissible under rules of IPR. These appointed Scientific Officers will be governed by terms and service conditions of IPR. The candidates selected for IPR will only be considered for appointment in IPR, not to any other unit or institute of DAE.

Selection Procedure
1. All the criteria relating to age, qualification, mode of screening and other general conditions etc., shall remain the same as declared for OCES- 2022 program.
2. The merit list created out of Selection Interview Marks (OCES- 2022) will be used to select candidates as Trainee Scientific Officer in the Institute for Plasma Research.
