Educational Qualification: M.Phil/Ph.D
The International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS) of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), a premier research centre (an Autonomous, Grant-in-Aid Institution of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India), invites highly motivated and self-driven individuals for the post of Research Associate-I at its Bengaluru office. The candidates should have the following qualifications and experience.
1. Post Name: Research Associate I
2 . Essential qualification: Ph.D. submitted
3. Job Profile: To work on fluid models arising from liquid mixtures and tumor growth models, in particular, Cahn-Hilliard coupled type of PDEs, are to be analyzed for well-posedness. The aim is to pose a suitable optimal control problem and study it theoretically and numerically.
4. Monthly Emoluments (Rs.) - Rs. 36,000/- + HRA (as per 6th CPC)
5. Tenure: Initial appointment will be for 6 months which may be extended depending upon the individual’s performance and the requirements of the Centre. The selected candidate will be required to join immediately.
