Educational Qualification: M.Phil/Ph.D
The International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS) of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), a premier research centre (an Autonomous, Grant-in-Aid Institution of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India), invites highly motivated and self-driven individuals for the post of Research Associate-I at its Bengaluru office. The candidates should have the following qualifications and experience.
1. Post Name: Research Associate I
2 . Essential qualification: Ph.D. submitted
3. Job Profile: To work on fluid models arising from liquid mixtures and tumor growth models, in particular, Cahn-Hilliard coupled type of PDEs, are to be analyzed for well-posedness. The aim is to pose a suitable optimal control problem and study it theoretically and numerically.
4. Monthly Emoluments (Rs.) - Rs. 36,000/- + HRA (as per 6th CPC)
5. Tenure: Initial appointment will be for 6 months which may be extended depending upon the individual’s performance and the requirements of the Centre. The selected candidate will be required to join immediately.
Pay Scale: INR 36000(Per Month)
Age Limit: 35 years (as on 01st Jan 2022)
Selection Procedure
1. The selected candidate will be required to join immediately.
2. The Institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for the recruitment process to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
