Applications through online mode are invited from the applicants who are domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and are possessing the prescribed Academic/Professional qualification and age for the following posts in terms of the Jammu and Kashmir Medical Education (Gazetted) Service Recruitment Rules, 1979 issued under SRO 51 7 dated 19.09.1979, Government Order No. 0441M of 2018, dated 01.01.2018 (GMC- Kathua);

3. Qualification:
i) MBBS or possession of recognized Graduate qualifications in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the 3rd Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, Holders of Education qualifications included in the part II of the 3rd Schedule should fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section (13) OF Indian Medical Council, Act, 1956 and
ii) Possession of Post Graduate Degree in the respective specialty mentioned in to the Schedule with two years experience in the profession in a responsible position connected with specialty OR Possession of Postgraduate Diploma mentioned for the concerned subject in part to the Schedule with three years experience in the profession in the responsible position connected with specialty.

Selection Procedure
1. Selection shall be made in accordance with the provisions laid down in the Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission's (Business & Procedure) Rules, 2021 as amended from time to time.
2. Candidates are advised to apprise themselves with the provisions of Rule 44 Of the Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission's (Business & Procedure) Rules, 2021.
How to Apply:
1. Candidates are advised to update their One Time Registration before filling the application Form.
2. The Application Form together with instructions for filling up the Application Forms will bé available at the website of the Commission from 28.12.2021.
3. Candidates are advised to go through the instructions and all the eligibility conditions prescribed for: the post before filling up the online Application Form.
4. Last date for filling up of online Application complete in all respects along with the requisite fee; (online mode only) is 27.01.2022
5. The last date for receipt of online applications provided in the notification shall be the cut-off date: for determining the eligibility including acquisition of requisite educational and professionali qualifications.
6. The minimum and maximum age will however reckoned with reference to 1St January, 2021.
7. Candidates can edit some of the fields in their online application form w.e.f 29.01.2022 to 31 2022 (up to 11.59 PM). Instructions in this regard will be separately made available on the website.
8. Candidates are requited to upload all the mandatory prescribed/requisite documents alongwith the: online application form.

Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) is a constitutional authority established on September 2, 1957, to ensure merit-based recruitment for the Jammu and Kashmir government services.
