Educational Qualification: MBBS or Possession of recognized Graduate Medical Qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-11 of the 3rd Scheduled (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of education qualifications included in part-II of the 3rd Scheduled should fulfill the conditions stipulated in the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) is a constitutional authority established on September 2, 1957, to ensure merit-based recruitment for the Jammu and Kashmir government services.
