Anaesthesiology: MD/MS/DNB (Anaesthesia).
Cardiology: DM/DNB (Cardiology).
Clinical Hematology: DM/DNB (Clinical Hematology).
Paediatric Hematology: DM/DNB (Clinical Haematology).

Emergency Medicine: MD/DNB (Emergency Medicine) OR MD/MS/DNB in General Medicine, Anesthesia, Respiratory Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopaedics with special training for three years in the respective new broad specialty subject in a teaching Institution/Centre of Excellence with dedicated service in that specialty.

Geriatric Medicine: MD/DNB (Geriatric) OR MD/DNB Family Medicine, General Medicine with special training for three years in the respective new broad specialty subject in a teaching Institution/Centre of Excellence with dedicated service in that specialty.

Nephrology: DM/DNB (Nephrology).
Nuclear Medicine: MD/DNB (Nuclear Medicine).
Neurology: DM/DNB (Neurology).
Microbiology: MD/DNB (Microbiology).
Neurosurgery: M.Ch/DNB (Neuro Surgery).
Obstetrics & Gynaecology: MD/MS/DNB (Obstetrics & Gynaecology).
Paediatric Surgery: M.Ch/DNB (Paediatric Surgery).
Pathology: MD/DNB (Pathology).

Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PMR): MD/DNB (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) OR MS/MD/DNB in Medicine with Diploma in PMR, General Surgery, Orthopedics with special training for three years in the respective new broad specialty subject in a teaching Institution/Centre of Excellence with dedicated service in that specialty.

Surgical Gastroenterology: M.Ch/DNB (Surgical Gastroenterology).
Urology: M.Ch/DNB (Urology).
Blood Transfusion & Immunohematology: MD/DNB Transfusion Medicine OR M.D/DNB (Immuno-Hematology & Blood Transfusion).
Clinical Pharmacology: MD/DNB (Pharmacology) OR MBBS with Ph.D. (Med. Pharmacology).

Clinical Biochemistry: MD/DNB (Biochemistry) OR MSc (Medical Biochemistry) with PhD in Medical Biochemistry (Non Medical Teachers in the Department of Biochemistry should not exceed 30% limit of the total posts sanctioned in the Department subject to non-availability of Medical Teachers).

Cardio-Vascular Thoracic Surgery: M.Ch./DNB (Cardio Vascular & Thoracic Surgery) OR M.Ch./DNB (Cardiac Surgery) OR M.Ch. (Vascular Surgery) OR M.Ch./DNB (Thoracic Surgery).

Clinical Immunology & Rheumatology: DM in Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology OR MD/DNB in General Medicine, Paediatrics with special training for three years in the new super specialty subject in teaching institution/centre of excellence with dedicated service in that specialty.

Respiratory Medicine: MD/DNB (Respiratory Medicine).
Plastic Surgery: M.Ch/DNB (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery).
Radio-diagnosis & Imaging: MD/DNB (Radio-Diagnosis).

Liver Transplantation Unit: M.Ch. (HPB Surgery) OR M.Ch./DNB Surgical Gastroenterology/MS/DNB General Surgery with special training for three years in the new super specialty subject in a teaching institution/Centre of excellence with dedicated service in that specialty.

Endocrinology: DM/DNB (Endocrinology).
Gastroenterology: DM/DNB (Gastroenterology).
Neonatology: DM/DNB (Neonatology).
Radiotherapy: DM/DNB (Radio-Oncology).
