Subject: - Advertisement notice for engagement of Counsellor/ Staff Nurse for Opiods Substitute Therapy (OST) Centre at Drug-De-addiction Centre, Jammu.
1. Position: Counsellor
2. No of Post: 01
3. Qualification: Should have Bachelor's Degree in Psychology/Social Science/Humanities. Those who have received training in counselling drug. users and prior experience of working with drug users will be preferred.
4. Consolidated monthly salary: Rs. 13000/- P.M.
1. Position: Staff Nurse
2. No of Post: 01
3. Qualification: Should have a minimum qualification of ANM. Those with Diploma in Nursing/Bachelor of Science (Nursing) would be preferred.

The Jammu and Kashmir Police or JKP was established in the year 1873 and is the law enforcement agency, having primary responsibilities in law enforcement and investigation within the 22 districts of the state of Jammu & Kashmir. JKP works with the Indian Army, the Central Reserve Police Force, and other Paramilitary forces of India to keep the state secure from incursions from Pakistan. The agency also investigates alleged misconduct by other units of the security forces in the state.
The J&K Police has prevented attacks in other parts of India by arresting terrorists en route from Pakistan.
Jammu and Kashmir Police comes under direct control of Department of Home Affairs, Government of Jammu and Kashmir. The JKP is headed by Director General of Police (DGP).
