Educational Qualification: M.Sc, M.E/M.Tech, M.Phil/Ph.D, Professional Degree
1. Technology Project: Scalable coating of metal oxides on hybrid transparent electrodes and fabrication of smart window devices, funded by TDT/DST (duration: 3 years)
2. Principle Investigators: Prof. G. U. Kulkarni (JNCASR), Dr. Ashutosh K. Singh (CeNS), Dr. Ritu Gupta (IITJ), Dr. M. G. Sreenivasan (HHV)
3. Position Duration: Initially, selected candidates will be offered for six months and the tenure may be extended for the project duration based on on the performance and availability of funds
4. Position : Junior Research Fellow [JRF]
5. Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course with valid score in any one of the National Level examination
6. Remuneration Rs.31,000 plus HRA
1. Technology Project: Scalable coating of metal oxides on hybrid transparent electrodes and fabrication of smart window devices, funded by TDT/DST (duration: 3 years)
2. Principle Investigators: Prof. G. U. Kulkarni (JNCASR), Dr. Ashutosh K. Singh (CeNS), Dr. Ritu Gupta (IITJ), Dr. M. G. Sreenivasan (HHV)
3. Position Duration: Initially, selected candidates will be offered for six months and the tenure may be extended for the project duration based on on the performance and availability of funds
4. Position : Senior Research Fellow [SRF]
5. Essential Qualification: Essential Qualification: Same as mentioned above for JRF with two years of research experience Desirable Qualification: Experience in electrochemical measusrements and knowledge about vacuum systems will be preferred.
6. Remuneration Rs.35,000 plus HRA
1. Technology Project: Scalable coating of metal oxides on hybrid transparent electrodes and fabrication of smart window devices, funded by TDT/DST (duration: 3 years)
2. Principle Investigators: Prof. G. U. Kulkarni (JNCASR), Dr. Ashutosh K. Singh (CeNS), Dr. Ritu Gupta (IITJ), Dr. M. G. Sreenivasan (HHV)

4. Position : Research Associate
5. Essential Qualification: Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in (Physics/Chemistry/Material Science/Nanoscience & Tech. or relevant subject) or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research and development experience after ME/M.Tech (Physics/Chemistry/Material Science/Nanoscience & Tech. or relevant subject) with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journals. Desirable Qualification: Experience in electrochemical device fabrication, coating processes (PVD, spray, spin) and knowledge about vacuum systems will be preferred.
6. Remuneration Rs.47,000 plus HRA

Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) is an autonomous institution that was established in 1989 by the Department of Science and Technology, GoI to commemorate the birth centenary year of Jawaharlal Nehru. Prof. C. N. R. Rao, FRS, was the founding President. The Centre was registered as a society with Dr. Raja Ramanna (eminent physicist and former Chairman, DAE) as its first Chairman. The Centre was recognized as an Institution Deemed to be University by University Grants Commission, GoI in 2002. Prof. Umesh V Waghmare is the current President of the Centre, and its Governing Council is chaired by Prof. V Ramgopal Rao.
The Council of Management oversees all major activities of the Centre including granting of degrees, appointment of new faculty and initiation of new programmes. The Academic Advisory Committee (AAC) of the Centre monitors the teaching programmes and award of degrees. The institution is headed by the President and assisted by the Administrative Officer and other Officers who are in-charge of their respective departments. Four Deans oversee the activities of the Academic Section, Extension Programmes, Research and Development, and Faculty Affairs.
