Educational Qualification: M.Sc, M.E/M.Tech

1. Position: Scientific Officers (FSL)

2. No of Posts: 16

3. Education Qualification:

(i) Physical Section:

(a) Must be a holder of Master’s Degree in Physics / Forensic Science / Equivalent qualification in Physical sciences with atleast 55% agreegate marks.

(b) Must have not less than two years research experience as a research scholar in any research institution recognized by the Government.

(ii) D N A Section:

(a) Must be a holder of Master’s Degree in Botany / Zoology / Bio-Chemistry / Microbiology / Life Sciences / Forensic Science or Equivalent qualification in Bio-science with atleast 55% agreegate marks

(b) Must have not less than two years research experience as a research scholar in any research institution recognized by the Government.

(iii) Computer Forensic Section:

(a) Must be a holder of Master’s Degree in Computer science / Electronics / Physics / Forensic Science / Information Science or Technology / Equivalent qualification in Physical Science with atleast 55% agreegate marks (Or)

(b) M.Tech degree from any recognized university in Computer Science/ Electronics / Information Science or Technology / Telecommunication / Equivalent qualification with at least 55% aggregate marks (with)

(c) Must have not less than two years research experience as a research scholar in any research institution recognized by the Government.

(iv) Mobile Forensics Section:

(a) Must be a holder of Master’s Degree in Computer Science / Electronics / Physics / Forensic Science / Information Science or Technology / Equivalent qualification in Physical sciences with at least 55% aggregate marks (Or)

(b) M.Tech degree from any recognized university in Computer Science / Electronics / Information Science or Technology / Telecommunication / Equivalent qualification with at least 55% aggregate marks

(c) Must have not less than two years research experience as a research scholar in any research institution recognized by the Government.

(v) Audio Video Forensics Section:

(a) Scientific Officer in Audio Video Forensics Section : Must be a holder of Master’s Degree in Computer Science / Electronic / Physics / Forensic Science / Information Science or Technology / Equivalent qualification in Physical sciences with atleast 55% agreegate marks (Or)

(b) M.Tech degree from any recognized university in Computer Science/ Electronics / Information Science or Technolodgy / Telecommunication / Equivalent qualification with at least 55% aggregate marks (With)

(c) Must have not less than two years research experience as a research scholar in any research institution recognized by the Government.

(vi) Toxicology Section:

(a) Must be a holder of Master’s Degree in Chemistry / pharmacology / Bio-Chemistry / Forensic Science / Equivalent qualification in Chemical science with atleast 55% agreegate marks

(b) Must have not less than two years research experience as a research scholar in any research institution recognized by the Government.

(vii) Biology Section:

(a) Must be a holder of Master’s Degree in Botony / Zoology / Bio Chemistry / Microbiology/ Life Science / Forensic Science or Equivalent qualification in Bio science with at least 55% agreegate marks

(b) Must have not less than two years research experience as a research scholar in any research institution recognized by the Government.
