Special Reserve Police Constable (K.S.R.P.)
The Karnataka State Police Department has officially released the KSRP Police Constable Notification 2026 on 10th July 2026. The department has announced vacancies for the post of Special Reserve Police Constable (K.S.R.P.) for both men and women across several KSRP Battalions located in Bengaluru, Belagavi, Mysuru, Mangaluru, Shivamogga, Hassan, and Tumakuru. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 13th July 2026 to 10th August 2026 through the official Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) portal. Candidates must hold a 2nd PUC pass or an equivalent qualification and meet the prescribed age and physical standards to be eligible. Selection will be made through a written examination, followed by a Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Endurance Test (PET), and a Medical Examination. The written exam is scheduled for 20th September 2026.

(As per Government Order dated 29.01.2026, an additional 5-year relaxation has been extended to all categories.)

- Male (Ex-servicemen): Height – 163 cm; Chest expansion – 5 cm.
- Female (General): Height – 158 cm; Weight – 45 kg.
- Male (Forest/Backward areas): Height – 155 cm; Chest expansion – 5 cm.
- Female (Forest/Backward areas): Height – 150 cm; Weight – 45 kg.
Selection Procedure: Written Examination (OMR-based, 100 marks, objective type). Physical Standard Test (PST). Physical Endurance Test (PET). Medical Examination.
