Kerala Academy for Skills Excellence (KASE) Invites Application for Assistant Faculty Recruitment 2021

The Kerala Academy for Skills Excellence (KASE), the State Skill Development Mission, under Department of Labour and Skills, Government of Kerala, invites applications from qualified and competent candidates for appointment to various posts on contract basis in Kerala State Institute of Design (KSID)

1. Post Name: Assistant Faculty (Integrated Textile and Apparel Design)

2. Vacancy: 01

3. Qualification:

i. Postgraduate Degree/ Diploma (minimum 2 years program) in Textile Design from premier institutions like NID, NIFT or institutions of national importance or equivalent with core courses in Textile Design

ii. Undergraduate Degree/ Diploma (minimum 4 years program) in Textile Design from premier institutions like NID, NIFT or institutions of national importance or equivalent with core courses in Textile Design

4. Experience:

i. Minimum three (3) years of professional experience in industry/ academia in the area of Design

ii. Minimum five (5) years of professional experience in industry/ academia in the area of Design.

5. Consolidated Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 60,000/-

2. Vacancy: 01

3. Qualification:

i. Postgraduate Degree/Diploma (minimum 2 years program) in Industrial Design from premier institutions like NID, IIT or equivalent with core courses in Product Design

ii. Degree/ Diploma (minimum 4 years program) in Industrial Design from premier institutions like NID, IIT or equivalent with core courses in Product Design

4. Experience:

i. Minimum three (3) years of professional experience in industry/ academia in the area of Design.

ii. Minimum five (5) years of professional experience in industry/ academia in the area of Design.

5. Consolidated Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 60,000/-

Selection Procedure

KASE reserves the right to shortlist only a limited number of candidates for test/group discussion/interview, as the case may be for the posts based on marks secured in their qualifying examination and/or years of relevant experience. Candidates should clearly mention the marks scored in their qualifying examination in the application. The onus of proving the conversion from grade/CGPA to percentage of marks would rest with the candidate.
