Eligibility Criteria for KGMU Recruitment 2026

1. Senior Resident (Un-registered)

• Qualification: Candidates must have passed MD/MS/DNB (recognized by MCI/NMC).
• Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as per NMC rules.

2. Non-PG Junior Resident

• Qualification: MBBS (including completion of Internship) or equivalent degree recognized by MCI.
• Age Limit: Upper age limit is 40 years as on the date of interview.
• Age Relaxation: Up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates with UP domicile, widowed/divorced women, and disabled persons.
• Experience: Candidates can apply only up to 5 years from their internship completion date.
• Reservation: Applicable as per UP Government rules. Only UP domicile candidates are eligible for reservation benefits.
