Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Cabin Assistant

• Essential Qualification: Madhyamik or its equivalent from any recognized Board.
• Experience: Must be a Retired Sr. Trains Clerk/ Head Trains Clerk/ Chief Trains Clerk from Indian Railways. Must have experience in executing train interchange related works, interaction with other sections involved in railway operations, FOIS and POMS related work, and other clerical jobs.

Eligibility for Pointsman

• Essential Qualification: Madhyamik or its equivalent from any recognized Board.
• Experience: Must be a Retired Pointsman/ Pointsman-A/ Token Porter from Indian Railways. Must have experience in setting and clamping of points at the interchange Yard, piloting foreign Locomotives and other related works.

Age Limit (as on 01 December 2025)

Upper Age Limit: 62 years

Selection Process

• Written/Proficiency Test and/or Personal Interview (as decided by SMP, Kolkata)
• Antecedent Verification and Medical Fitness Test

2. Documents to enclose: Age Proof, Educational/Professional Qualification Certificates, Experience/Service Certificate(s), Copy of PPO, Two passport size photographs, Photo ID.
