Deputy Chief Electrical Engineer – Qualification & Experience
- Officer must belong to the Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE) cadre
- Must have completed a minimum of 5 years of Railway service
- Must be presently working at Joint Secretary / Senior Secretary (JAG/SS) grade, i.e., 7th CPC Pay Level 11 or 12
- Required Experience Domains:
- Design, planning, construction, and execution of Railway Electrification (RE) projects
- Operation & Maintenance of power supply installations, OHE (Overhead Equipment), and RC equipment
- Maintenance and operation of electric locomotives and Electric Multiple Unit (EMU) stocks outside electric loco shed
- Train operations, crew management, and maintenance/operation of electric locomotives based in shed
- Electrical General Services in Indian Railways / PSUs / Metro
- Candidate must possess knowledge of Railway Board and RDSO specifications and other relevant codes

Selection Process & Screening Clause
The selection for the post of Dy. Chief Electrical Engineer on deputation will be carried out as per the selection criteria prescribed in Ministry of Railways, Railway Board letter No. 2017/E(O)II/41/5 dated 25.05.2017 and No. 2018/E(O)II/41/1 dated 07.03.2018.
