Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital (New Delhi) has announced a recruitment drive for 03 Senior Resident posts on an ad-hoc basis for a period of 44 days. Candidates holding MBBS with Post Graduate Degree/DNB/Diploma or 2 years of relevant experience in the concerned specialty are invited for the Walk-in-Interview scheduled for 19th January 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Senior Resident

• Essential Qualification: MBBS with Post Graduate Degree/DNB/Diploma or Post-Doctoral Degree or equivalent, in the concerned specialty from an NMC/MCI recognized University/Institute.
• Alternative Qualification: If candidates with PG Degree/DNB/Diploma are not available, candidates with MBBS degree with 2 (Two) Years experience in the same specialty can be considered.
• Registration: Candidate should be registered with Delhi Medical Council.
• Experience Restrictions: Candidates who have done 03 years Senior Residency in any State, Central Govt. hospital or autonomous bodies are not eligible.
• Special Condition: In case fresh candidates are not available, candidates who have completed 3 years of Senior Residency and are willing to serve as SR, shall be considered for selection for a period of maximum one year.

Age Limit

• General/EWS/OBC: 45 Years
• SC/ST: 45 Years + 5 years relaxation
• Note: OBC certificate issued from Govt. NCT of Delhi only will be considered.

How to Apply

Interested candidates should report at the Establishment branch on 19/01/2026 between 09:00 AM to 10:30 AM for the Walk-in-Interview. Candidates should bring Original as well as one set of self-attested photocopies of Certificates (PG Degree/Diploma, DMC Registration, Age Proof, PG Attempt Certificate, PAN Card, Address Proof) and one recent passport size photograph.
