Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Senior Resident (Obs & Gynae): MBBS with Post Graduate Degree / DNB / Diploma / Post-Doctoral Degree (or equivalent) in the concerned specialty from an NMC / MCI recognized University or Institute.
• Candidates must possess DMC registration for the concerned specialty / super specialty.
• The tenure of the PG Degree / DNB / Diploma or Post-Doctoral Degree must have been completed and the result declared before the date of interview.
• If candidates with MBBS + PG Degree / DNB / Diploma are not available, candidates with MBBS degree and 2 years of experience in the same specialty may be considered.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The mode of selection is through interview only.
• The selection list will be prepared on a daily basis, subject to the availability of suitable and eligible candidates.
• If no eligible candidate appears on the scheduled date, the walk-in interview will be held every two weeks thereafter for the notified period.
• No TA / DA will be paid to candidates called for the interview.

Important Instructions

• The tenure of Senior Residents will be for a period of 44 days, extendable for further 44 days (with a 1-day break) on written request from the concerned doctor, duly recommended by the concerned in-charge, until the regular incumbent joins — maximum tenure 3 years including any prior ad-hoc or regular Senior Resident service.
• If any SC / ST / OBC / EWS certificate is found to be fake or false, services will be terminated forthwith.
• OBC / EWS certificates must be issued by the Government of NCT of Delhi and must have been issued before the date of interview.
• If SC / ST / OBC / EWS candidates are not available, the post may be filled from any other suitable unreserved candidate.
• The contract of appointment can be terminated by either party by giving a seven-day notice without assigning any reason.
• No TA / DA will be paid to candidates called for the interview.
• Selected candidates must submit an undertaking that they are not working at any Government or private healthcare facility at the time of joining and will not work during the tenure.
