Secretary, Kasturba Health Society, Sevagram, Wardha, Maharashtra invites applications for the post of Assistant Professor (one) in Radiotherapy at Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences in the prescribed proforma. The department of Radiotherapy on an average treats around 1100 patients annually and is equipped with a linear accelerator with IGRT & IMRT capabilities (M/s Varian), telecobalt (Phoenix), high-dose-rate brachytherapy unit (M/s Elekta), hyperthermia unit and is in the process of acquiring a wide-bore CT-simulator shortly.

The Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (MGIMS) is India’s first rural medical college, nestled in the karmabhoomi of Mahatma Gandhi, in Sevagram. It is managed by the Kasturba Health Society. The college was earlier affiliated to the Nagpur University (1969-1997) and from year 1998 it is now affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik.
