Educational Qualification: M.A. in Linguistics/ Applied Linguistics/ Computational Linguistics and Allied subjects. Desirable: (1) Candidates are expected to carry out tasks related to IPA transcriptions and annotation of (recorded) speech data (2) Native speakers of Meetei and Kokborok with a solid linguistics background will be preferred. (3) Candidates with knowledge of PRAAT and other Phonetic software will be preferred. (4) Candidates with a Ph.D. in Phonetics, Computational Linguistics, NLP, or Syntax, are encouraged to apply.

45000/- Per Month
Age Limit: Below 35 years.
Candidates will be selected based on written test/personal interview/medical test/ walkin interview. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the given criteria.
Interested candidates may appear before the interview board with original and self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates from 10th standard onwards, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate (if any), any other testimonials and a copy of recent signed Curriculum Vitae (CV). N.B. (1) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Manipur University was established as a State University on June 5, 1980, under the Manipur University Act 1980. It became a Central University on October 13, 2005, through the Manipur University Act 2005, passed by the Parliament. The University has nine Schools of Studies, forty-seven departments, and seven Centres of Studies attached to various Schools of Studies. The total student strength is 7,396.
